Re: Is this safe?

Sure it could work.

Batteries are cheap at Kragan.

Missing ATF O/T

I really hate when this happens...likely "just" a front seal.

All of it came out the flex plate dust cover drain hole.

Good news...still under warranty from rebuild two years ago.

Good guy Varismo blew two tires on the rescue run...and I had to rescue him.

Re: Pricing a Corvair...

Indeed...money talks. I've been looking in the $1500-2500 range for a while now.

Just a driver...nothing special. But I really don't want another project.

Re: Pricing a Corvair...

Offer this guy 15K and see if he bites...the ad makes it sound like a winner!!!

A cherry 69 vert would put you at the top of the Corvair pecking order in Houston.

Re: Pricing a Corvair...

If you've never bought a Vair before Scott gave you the best advice...contact a local club member. We are vairy helpful (generally) and remember...caveat emptor, let the buyer beware. The less a seller tells you the faster you should run for the hills!!! Take your time there are lots of cars...

Re: Somender-Singh Groves in Heads

It simply just cannot be that simple!! With all the technology out there...they are saying get out the hack saw??? It could be proof of the one conspiracy I do believe in. Big Auto is in bed with Big Oil...the real reason Nader wrote "Unsafe." Ford is all proud of 40 MPG in the new Fiesta...
