Here is a picture of a couple having their engagement picture taken in the 'vair! Came up and asked yesterday if I would mind. Of course, I didn't and was rather honored as there was a really nice '58 Chevy 'vert there.

I am 58 and one of the younger guys in ChooChoo Corvairs. There are a few younger, but not many! But at least we have a lot of experience and knowledge in the group! :)

Thanks Mike. It really isn't that special. Do a YouTube search for "61 wagon". And you will see whar I watched and offered to buy without seeing it in person till I drove 500 miles to pick it up!

Well, have been busy with work and other projects. :dontknow: Have since acquired a '61 Lakewood. Gonna change the wires out to trim rings and dog dish. It runs pretty good. Just came across this forum. I have a '63 CVT, Palomar Red, White top and White int., PG Very similar to the one my dad brought home new in 63.

Anyway, will be checking this site often.
