Orphan Car Show - Ypsilanti MI - 9/21/14

Tried to publish in the 'Shows' forum, but did not have ability...

Went to the Orphan Car Show in Ypsilanti MI today. In case you don't know Ypsi is the home town of the Willow-Run assembly plant that built many of our beloved Corvairs... The following shots taken to share. Hope you enjoy.

This is interesting... Most all dual-circuit brake systems i've worked with were split front/rear. So one 'circuit' was left front and right rear - the other circuit was right front and left rear... Corvair with upgraded system not this way? How were the factory-built dual systems split? This is why...

Speaking of noodles - how rigid are the factory convertibles? The rockers don't seem real large to me, and there is no 'hump' for the trans/drive shaft - not much there...

Just wondering as I'm trying to enter the market, and am eyeing coupes and convertibles...
