Re: EM floors. There isn't much left.
where you wearing a ladies bra whilst you where welding....
you car also looks to be missing the 'middle' seat riser that the front seats sit on, it looks as if someone has neatly cut it away and left the reinforcers behind.
have a look at my project thread for a terrible floor!!!!!

You have some good fabrication skills :tu: thankyou I'm 'hobby trained' so move pretty slowly and stuff doesn't always go as well as I thought, but with plenty of measuring and bits of card I can get by! I'm really envious of people who have real panel skills and all the machines to help them out! ...

Whereabouts are you Guru? You are welcome to come see my Monza, I'll take the seats out for you. hi Tex I'm in Yorkshire, and thank you for your kind offer, but my floor is now finished to the rear seat cross member. I'm now into all the mess that is the bit under the rear seat and the chassis rail...

the sharp eyed amongst you may notice that the right hand floor has been marked with a 'L' for left
this was because I knew it was for the side that didn't have the steering wheel, so that MUST be for the left hand side of the car
idiot!

front floors once I had got the clarks floors I decided to modify them and fit them so that the floor looked more original, this was ,mainly due to my inner sills been so good (so I didn't need the sides that are included in the clarks) and the seat risers been so bad (as the clarks are designed to ...

Re: uk owner - rusty 500
I like to watch Wheeler Dealers and often hear about the MOT testing. I'm curious what exactly is needed to pass a MOT test? Here in California the only testing you need to do is to pass smog, and, then only for 1973 or later vehicles. ok, its a little complicated for more modern cars, but using a ...

Re: 1964 500 coupe - rusting in the u.k
right, so we dragged it back to base to see what I had bought. first job was to get the interior out - it absolutely STANK, water had been leaking in and the seats where covered in green moss, but the worse part was the household carpet, it had just held water in like a sponge and just destroyed the...

1964 500 coupe - rusting in the u.k
a little bit of back ground about my new project before I throw some of the photos up.... its a 1964 500 coupe, a Californian car that was brought over to the U.K in the mid 1990's. at this point it was a very tidy car, one patch welded in the drivers floor and had been painted. the first U.K owner ...

uk owner - rusty 500
hi all I'm a U.K owner of a 1964 500 coupe its been stood outside for 15 or so years and as a consequence is pretty rusty - a real shame as it was a California import in the mid 1990's and was a very tidy show car at one point. ive always wanted a Corvair as they are such an interesting 'dead end' o...

Re: floor photos required
thank you all my problem is that the clark floor pans sit above the rear seat riser (for easy fitment for people who are lucky only to have a small amount of rust repairs!) - i was trying to work out what the factory floor looked like and how the rear seat riser for the bench seat mounted - what set...
