Re: 4 Carb Linkage setup HELP!!!
Not sure I understand not useing the rubber cups. You don't need them, then why were they in there when I rebuilt the carbs? Also my next problem is they keep leaking from the carb gasket. Tried to tighten them down all around the carb but afraid to over tighten and stip out the aluminum.

4 Carb Linkage setup HELP!!!
Rebuit all 4 carbs on the car. Now have them all installed, and linkage all on. Primarys seem to operate well but its my secondaries that aren't so good. First they don't seem to have any spring return on the throttle. Next not sure how and when that lock out trip lever works. If any one could maybe...

Re: hydro locked engine
Ok thanks for the info. I'm hopefully going to get to it next week and will take off the tops of the carbs and check the inlet valve. Not sure right now if it's one side or both. No I don't think it's a starter problem that would'nt explain all the gas coming out of the exhaust after I released it. ...

Hello all, My father has had his current corvair since '86. Not his first I might add. (140 conv manza) Now since I'm staring to do some of the work on it I've become very interested in getting my own toy. I believe it needs all 4 carbs rebuilt, and I want to talk him into spending some money on the...
