Re: New Member
Welcome! I bought a '72 Fiat 124 Spider new. It was a great car -- never had a problem of any kind. I really wanted an Alfa GTV, but it was too much money for a toy car. The 124 was a replacement for my '69 Corvair which has been sitting in the garage since I bought the 124. The 124 began its rust p...

Question on proper topic
This is not so much an improvement suggestion as it is a proper topic question. Where is the best / proper place to post non-performance projects?. Things like how I did my re-instrumentation, tilt column installation pictures and note, etc.

Re: Mind if I join in here???
I still have the '73 Nova. It doesn't need premium, but I usually use ethanol-free gas which is premium at a premium price. About 17 mpg on the highway.

Re: What Vehicle Did You Get Your First Traffic ticket In?
No moving violations in 54 years of legal driving (more years of driving, but it was before I got my license). I have gotten two warning tickets for speeding -- both while driving one of my wife's cars. The first was 61 in a 55 in rural Iowa while driving her '74 Audi GTI. The other was two years ag...

Mr Redd's Instrument Panel
Here are some pictures of the instrument panel in my Mr. Redd restomod. I was going to use a Corsa panel, but decided I didn't like all the separate gauges sitting down in little "tunnels" The center gauge is a quad with Fuel, Temp (oil), Volts, and Oil Pressure. The speedometer is electro...

Mr Redd, the '65 Corvair GT
I've had a project in process for the last several years. I'm building a Corvair GT from my wife's '65 Monza, Mr. Redd. It's a car that Chevrolet should have built, but didn't. It takes the Fitch approach to a whole new level with major mods to the interior and a performance-built engine. It's a nut...

I'se Here
Seems like this might turn out to be a decent forum when it achieves critical mass. My current project is a restomod of a '65 Monza. I bought it used for my wife in '66, sold it to my brother in '69, and my wife bought it back from him a couple of years ago. Here's an in-process picture from about a...
