Re: Politics.
I get annoyed when our tabloids try to reduce political argument to ad hominem rhetoric, but reading threads like this makes them seem quite mild compared to how you go about it over there. Doesn't help whatever argument you think you are having in this thread, but just wanted to make a comment whil...

Re: Harmonic balancer question..
OK, but I guess it wouldn't do any harm either?
Whatever way, the buggers going on there as I've paid for it.

Re: Harmonic balancer question..
I've just bought a harmonic balancer for my lo-po 62 Greenbrier engine, I thought it was worth it for the minor outlay.

Re: Shipping to uk help please
Hi Dave, thanks for the offer, I'll have to do some digging and work it all out.
It may just be a co-incidence, but you aren't the same Mr.Gilbert that had a look at the van for me in Grand Junction by chance?

Re: Opinion requested
I think you don't need something so obviously a scoop as that, I would expect that anything sticking into the airflow a little would have the effect you are looking for (if it is needed). So just a small something at the very end of the vent holes, no more than an inch out. But I'm doubting if it is...

Shipping to uk help please
Hi, I'm restoring the Greenbrier and I need to replace steering tie rods, amongst many other things. Clarks do a kit and I use them constantly for many things, and they provide a great service. But I've found another source on ebay that will do the same kit for half the price, but they won't ship to...

Detent bolt needed
I have just taken my 62 Greenbrier powertrain out, and after splitting everything and cleaning it up, I think I've found the reason it kept dropping out of 4th gear while travelling. The detent spring and bolt were missing, for the 3rd-4th shaft. I can get replacement springs and balls, but I can't ...

Re: Bondo Bucket production line
Gotta go west coast for rust free, everyone knows that. And get someone else to look at it before you buy, if you can't yourself.

Re: pensylvania bondo bucket
ooo I love that bit, nothing better than seeing absolutely clean bits going back onto a clean body.
My van is on it's way, engine out, rear suspension off and as soon as front off then strip and clean, stove enamel and start the body work.
I GET SOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: is your wheel bearing making noise? fix it now!!!
Do you think having it slammed might have made it be more stressed? And what kind of a noise does it make? I've gad a range of noises coming from the rear end for some time (the car) and nothing has fallen off yet (again, the car). And what size wheels and tyres do you run please? I like the look of...

Wow, she looks nice. Where about are you? I'm in Hampshire with a 64 convertible and a 62 Greenbrier. Windscreen washer is the button in the middle of the windscreen wiper switch, if you had them fitted. not all of them did, they were an option. Did you know that your engine bay is missing the shrou...

Re: 64 leaf spring FC
I didn't read it properly and thought you were asking about putting a normal leaf spring suspension on, not the single transverse leaf that we have on the 64. So a valid question, but because of the differences in sizes between the two for a start, I'd say it wouldn't be worth the trouble. Probably ...

Re: 64 leaf spring FC
I'm no expert on suspension, but I can't think of one good reason for doing it.
So I'll just ask, why?
