Axle Check Tube GROMMET

OK mine did not have one of these when I got it (C8450) diff. dip stick tube GROMMET, does the rubber point up and toward
the rear on the motor side of the firewall or does it go on the front side of the firewall pointed down toward the diff.?

The rear mount is new and installed correct and I changed the trans. mounts (that look good) from side to side and no differance still low on left and high on right? untill I jacked the left up a LITTLE and loosened the trans. crossmember and it moved and retightened bolts and it is level now. :dont...

When aligning the rear wheels on a van, adding shims do you just put the two bolt shims under those two bolts? on the right side? or do you put the same amount under the left side bolt also? Because it seems like it would want to move the motor side to side in the back if you did not add the shims t...

I think I got it, I put a jack under the low (left) side and jacked it up VERY LITTLE and took the trans. crossmember bolts loose a little and I saw it move so snuged them back up and all is well, only problem is will have to do this when ever I align the rear wheels but it sits right now. looking good and very clean under there, now is a great time to put a light under the heads with the bottom shrouds off and see if the heads need deflashing, that will make a BIG difference in the cooling.
