Re: The Quarantine Vair

Wow very nice score!!!!
Maybe spray some penetrating oil around the cylinders and let them sit for a day or so? A little heat from a torch? Heat the aluminum (it expands faster). Be careful not to catch the place on fire. :extinguisher:

Re: Clarks Package Area Cardboard

Mine wasn't screwed down but I don't know if that is how they came from the factory. :dontknow: I guess I'm not too much help. I removed the cardboard, added sound deadening and carpet. https://www.corvairforum.com/forum/download/file.php?id=3959&t=1 https://www.corvairforum.com/forum/download/file....

Re: Replacing engine fan bearing question

The pulley should just come right off after you remove the four bolts. You may have to tap it with a rubber mallet to jar it loose?

Re: The Quarantine Vair

Rebuilding it with all new parts is best but pricey! You may just luck out and find a local running motor you can drop in or salvage parts from. Keep up the search.

Waterlesss Carwash Partnership

I use this on my cars. :65Coupe: I like it so I thought  why not become an affiliate? It helps offset the cost of running the site (if someone orders) and its a good product. :tu: This image works. https://www.corvairforum.com/forum/download/file.php?id=49918 The image below this is just the ...

Scott, sent you a PM.
Messaged you back and emailed you. Basically the same message on both. The Security provider is making "tweaks" and want you to try it again to see if its resolved.

Re: Ad another one to the family

Thanks for the info on the fuel gauge. We are going to try the marvel mystery oil and Lifter additive before we replace the lifters. 29437CE8-ECC4-40A3-B4FF-75DFE5A2928D.jpg We also flipped the front trim pieces over. They were on upside down. I see that allot on 62’s. IMG_1609.JPG Sent from my iPho...

Ok we found the rubbing issue. Patch panel underneath was sticking out. We just bent it out of the way.

I saw that too. That’s a bummer.

If you need parts in that time try Raffee Corvair. I just got some parts from him today.
