Thank you so much for your help! Have had my ‘63 for a month, now. Brings back memories of the ‘60 I bought from a neighbor for $10 as a thoroughly clapped-out field car! I was 13 at the time. Car was about 9.

A bit off the main thread, and I know this sounds sacrilegious, but could I obtain a small amount of safety by mounting buckets from a modern convertible ? I believe I could then benefit from the 3-point inertial belt they possess. Is this feasible? Thank you for your replies!

I am the new owner of a ‘63 Monza convertible.
1963 CORVAIR
Monza 900 Convertible
The “VIN” says 30967W262182
I understand that the last six (?) numbers refer to the sequence of production. Mine says 262182, but only 254,571 were made! Please explain. Thanks!
