No Corvair ever came with a heat exchanger for cabin heating via engine waste heat. It is a direct air heater. You must keep the engine clean and well sealed. I noticed yesterday that the airflow out of the bellows controlled rear outlet doors on my '66 monza 110 is noticeably different between the passenger side and the drivers side. The drivers side seems to have more airflow through it. Is that to be expected?

This was really helpful! Answered nearly all my questions about fuel. The guy I bought my Corvair from recently had been using and said to use the lead additive. I'd rather not.

What about non-ethanol fuel? Would that be better to run than E10/ E15 fuels?
