Re: Speed vibration

Tires is a good start I think as they are fairly old... Still in good shape but old. Guess I start with that... I think I will also check my engine mounts as I don't know how old they are. Thanks for the advice guys ! [emoji106] I had this happen when I was around 70mph. I first had the tires balanc...

Speed vibration

Guys anyone have experience with speed vibration...? It seams like my drive shafts aren't balanced or something. As soon as I go over 55 mph the hole car starts vibrating badly... Where should I start to check what it could be? Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks guys Sent from my SM-N975W using Cor...

Re: How to change leaking master brake cylinder.

Ya that wasn't easy but it's doable. I lowered the tank more on the passenger side opened the retainer clip ( I only have one on the passenger side above the tank ) took the old line out and reinserted the new line closed the retainer and the tank went back up didn't even have to push the filler cap...

Re: How to change leaking master brake cylinder.

I know I might get some heat for this but I only needed to drop the tank about 3 inches and the line slipped right out and back in... Went in no problem I disconnected everything the sender unit and all its probably safer that way as you don't bent or damage the fuel line. So my advice would be lowe...

Re: How to change leaking master brake cylinder.

That's a bummer but it is what it is... Thanks for all the tips. Away bar bushings are brand new but everything on the gas tank is old... So I guess I need to spend more money... [emoji24] Yes tank needs to come all the way out. The line runs all the way above the tank near the top of the vertical p...

Re: How to change leaking master brake cylinder.

So I changed the drivers side line with a problem went to bleed again and the passenger side is leaking as well... I'm cursing the guy that installed them all this because someone was to lazy to push the grommet in properly... Now to change the passenger side does the tank have to come completely ou...

Re: How to change leaking master brake cylinder.

I guess that's good news... I'll probably order both left and right front to be save ! Are the lines from Clark's pre bent or do I need to bend them? the line to the left front can be changed with the tank in the car. The line to the right front requires removing the tank to change. Be sure when you...

Re: How to change leaking master brake cylinder.

Ok so I got the new dual MC installed... See pictures... But when we went to bleed the brakes we discovered that where the two front lines run through the fire wall we had a big hole that was probably the the bigger leak... See picture. The grommet was there but it was just sitting infront of the fi...

Re: How to change leaking master brake cylinder.

Hey I got one more question the brake line nuts are imperial not metric right... Got to buy myself a set of flare nut wrenches... So I don't strip anything... Also what size clear hose is good for bleeding the brakes ? Thanks in advance ! That bender is useful in this case to help unbend the existin...

Re: How to change leaking master brake cylinder.

Thanks guys with all the helpful advice... I will go with the Clark's Corvair kit as I don't really use the trunk for anything... Might even make a cover for the MC so it won't get hit. I'm pretty good with that sort of thing. Now I have to bend the line under the dash a bit as you guys describe. If...

Re: How to change leaking master brake cylinder.

Thanks guys yes I'm considering doing the switch now that you guys mentioned it. It just makes sense. My cylinders on the brakes look fairly new so I'm not worried about them. I looked for the conversion kit but I can't find it on Clark's could you point me in the right direction? Also what's the be...

First of we have been enjoying our Corvair greatly this summer it was a blast cruising around with the whole family. Maybe we get a couple more days out of this year...  So to my question yesterday I went for a drive about 20km or so on my way back I stopped at a store. When I went back on the road ...
