Well I did it. Not exactly how the manual described it but worked well and safely. I also figured out how to put them back on.
Larry thanks for the help.

Re: Removing Torsion Bars For Trunk
It on a 65.
Looks like I need a lot of planning. I thought I could remove the screws that hold the rods but that does not appear to be the case.
Thanks for the help. Larry

Removing Torsion Bars For Trunk
I need to clean the area under the torsion bars for the trunk.
Is there a lot of pressure on the bars?
Do I need to do anything special to avoid problems.

Sounds like a tedious job. I hope to put in the screen as described and try to clean them from the top and bottom. Thanks Larry

Re: Door Jam Painting
I have stripped the car of about everything and plan on sanding the areas I can get to except where the door hinges attach and where the front grill covers. I don't want to take off the doors. I have sandblasted cars before and have trouble getting rid of the sand in the cracks. I appreciate the res...

Re: Front Air Grill
Just wondering how you cleaned the leaves from this area. Do you remove the air intake grill and vacuum the area out or do you try to vacuum it from the top. Larry

Removal of Rear Grill
I am in the process of painting my 65 Corsa and want information on how to remove the grill behind the rear window. I found some information on removing it on a coupe but not a convertible. Any ticks I should know? Do I have to remove the rear part of the top?

Aluminum Cleaner
I have a cold water pressure washer and need to clean the heat exchanger and other aluminum parts with the engine in the car. What have you guys used in your cars. I searched this site and read Motohead's post. Has anyone one tried anything different. Larry
