I had same thing after wheel repair. Found it to be a wheel weight hitting a linkage.

types of carbs?
Have a 1962 fc with a 1965-1968 replaced engine. need carb gaskets and was wanting to know if carbs were all pretty standard. Have a 62 shop manual but not a 65-68 book for part numbers. Do I need serial # off carbs? thanks for a quick help

voltage regulator elimination?
Can it be eliminated by a single wire alternator? My mech wants to remove it by replacing the alternator with something he called a single wire. Anyone out there do this change.

can anyone determine the colors of the interiors ? Seat patters ,dash color, headliners, carpets and paint? I have a fc 95 that has the fawn paint codes. The last 140 I built had $5000 in machine shop cost's and parts, deep seat heads are a must have item for reliability, those are $1200-$1800 alone, there is a big difference between a complete competent rebuild and a refresh, so price depends what you want? also no competent engine builder will ...

regarding above post, I think I found out the difference between the two door latches. but still would like info on washers or shims. thanks for diagrams but I'm looking for a diagram of the actual handle assembly exploded.

Trying to get the ramp and tailgate handles to work. Does anyone have a parts blow up picture of these? And are they the same for both the tail gate and rampside? thanks again guys , wont have time to look till around xmas time. I'm heading up around Hayward for some ice fishing and snow removal off my garage. I did get a plate for my distributor today old original so I may put it on.
