It appears that Ted is correct. I installed the Anco style pump, but used the original star wheel cam. The unit tried to work, but didn't quite get the job done. Admittedly, the unit I used was one I acquired with my Rampy in one of the spare parts boxes, so it may not be right. But, it would squirt...

I think you're correct Brad. But I'm just stubborn enough that I want to get the OEM style pump to work. I've already purchased an aftermarket pump like you've pictured above, just in case! I have a replacement pump. I don't have the gear, or the standoff, I can make a standoff, and hope the original gear will work.

Not to mention the Judson supercharger!

I have no problem with the motors. I haven't purchased any parts from Clark's for this issue. Both motors are stock, and the same in the '66 as the '65. You completely replaced the carburetor, and no change? I would look hard at the ignition then. Do you have the correct distributor, and the correct vacuum "retard" module? Are you running points and condenser? Have they been replaced?

I guess I'd be willing to spend the price of a machine shop seat repair, to lower the temperatures 25 degrees. I have no idea what the new fan will cost, but I know how much a head repair is!
