Re: Electric fuel pump
Hmm. Its still performing flawlessly. And in texas heat. I probably have added more miles on my corvair since the fuel pump replacement than 99% of corvair owners on this forum. I understand your opinions but results speak for themselves.

Dual exhaust completed.
I bought u pipes from rafee corvair which I have to say was a way better experience than Clark's. So thank you rafee for promptly shipping and delivering great parts. I bought 2 thrush turbo mufflers. Part #17711 from advanceauto. I believe they are 2 in. Inner diameter. On both sides. One centered ...

Re: Electric fuel pump
Oh my god thank you for understanding my point of installing the pump in the engine compartment. I have an extra pump in my trunk and it will take me about 5 minutes to replace if it fails.

Re: Electric fuel pump
Ignorant to assume I didn't install any other safety measures. I only installed the switch because it came with the relay kit I bought. I have an oil pressure cutoff installed. Thank you for your paragraphs of opinionated and argumentative information as usual. I drive my car almost every day so I w...

Electric fuel pump
I'm sure I'm going to get all sorts of crap for this but I installed a bravex electric fuel pump in the engine bay. Against the firewall. I have a stock 102hp motor. Part number is ep12sl-bx. It was $20 on Amazon. I have read alot about electric pumps being good for pushing not pulling fuel. But I w...

I'm sorry bbodie52 that seemed like a really dumb post that made no sense.
Thank you for just confusing everyone and not really adding anything useful. Thank you to everyone that actually helped with the names. I will end this post.

This car needs a name.
I finally have my car driveable and absolutely love it. Thank you to everyone that helped. I'm looking for a name for it and nothing is coming to mind. I remember my grandpa always had a name for his corvairs. I'm just looking for some ideas. 20191014_060535.jpeg 20191014_060524.jpeg Sent from my SM...

Re: Best Upgrades
I am a newbie also and have upgraded to an electric fuel pump. It's simple and I am pleased with it. Make sure to wire in safety backups. I also converted to an alternator. Really easy to do. I plan on being able to use this car whenever I want. Still have to do the electronic ignition. Probably get...
