If it is being driven normally it is like one just shut off ignition switch . Usually starts right back up , sometimes on start up it has to run a little before it wants to drive. All new wire harnesses on car , Coil changed two years ago . points good condition. New brass filters in both carb

electric fuel pump up near the tank . All fuel lines are ok .
I make the Dist Point Leads for $5 , can even make them in colors other than black . So mine is good .

car runs - for a while
Car starts right up , idles ok . Drives good for a minute then boggs down and dies . Starts again , dies , Starts again runs 30 seconds , repeats .
1) have new gas tank
2) electric fuel pump
3) engine does not seem to be overheating , very clean under engine shroud

Boiled Linseed Oil is perfect for places that requre no sanding , such as the floors . Just get off the loose rust , paint with the linseed oil and allow to dry , which may take a week or more . Then you can just paint over .

There is one bolt inside the Universal Joint adapter that must be removed , then remove the adapter ( may require some tapping with hammer ) Next remove brake drum , you will see four nuts holding the axle bearing , remove these and it will slide out

I bought my first Corvair in 1968 at age of 21 . still have that one but have went through several since including two 1966 Corsa's . Wish I still had those two .

I went to electric fuel pump , but considering going back to original . Electric pump is quite noisy when idling , such as stopped for a light . Moving at 45 plus mph it is not so noticeable

I have a bad ignition switch pigtail . I have changed it about a year ago and all was fine until recently . Now I could swap it out for another used one but all these are getting pretty old ( like myself ) . I would like to find a new one but don't think any new ones exist . A dimmer switch pigtail ...

No not leaving the switch to on position . I have an old dash harness , looks fair . I am going to change that and see what happens .
