Re: Will not accelerate🤦‍♂️ I some help

Here's something stupid but might be worth a check. It finished a '68 Monza a little while ago and it started and seemed to run great. But when I drove it for the first time, the car would take off nicely on just a little bit of throttle but when I went for more speed, more throttle gave nothi...

Stinger T-shirts

A while back I bought a Stinger T-shirt that cost about $26 and had very poor quality printing. Needless to say, I was very disappointed. I'd like to get some nice T-shirts and have had the artwork done and if I can get commitments for at least 48 shirts I'm going to go ahead and get some made up. T...

Re: Artwork for club T-shirts

We attended an all Chevy show last year and they had shirts that kind of have the "flavor" of what we'd like. http://www.corvairs.org/graphics/showdown_2010.jpg We were thinking of showing 3 cars (I have pictures) of equal prominance. Mountains and cactus in the background could be a nice ...

Artwork for club T-shirts

We want to make some nice T-shirts for the Tucson club but we're having trouble finding someone to come up with a good design that we can have silk screened. Is there anybody out there that can hook us up with someone who can provide such a service?

Thanks

Fuzzies w/ SS bead

I've looked in several catalogs and I'm not finding any of our vendors that are selling fuzzy sets with stainless steel beads (instead of painted black). I have made them myself with materials purchsed from non-Corvair suppliers, but it seems to me that I have purchased them ready-made before. I'm n...

Re: Corvair of the Month September 2010

This is a car I bought in 1970 and I've driven the wheels off of it about 5 times! The latest restoration turned it into a replica of a Stinger. I drove a Stinger once in 1967 and have been in love ever since. I still couldn't afford one so this is what I ended up with. It's by far the funnest car t...

Van Pershing's Website

This isn't the greatest website by a long ways but there are some interesting tech tips, a little bit about Corvairs and Chaparrals, Jim Hall's article on what makes cars handle, along with some trivia, like Corvair racing in NASCAR again Falcons and Valiants. Personal cars, past and present, as wel...

Re: Don Yenko and the Yenko Stinger

Charlie, This is such a great project. I aplaud you for your gumption to even take it on. It truely has to be a work of love. It's not like you're going to sell a couple of million copies and make the NY Times best seller list!! If there is anything I can do to assist in your efforts, please feel fr...
