i have a 65 monza, same issue, when the lever is pushed down for a left turn i can hear it blinking but the dash indicator does not work, got a new switch from clarks part no C862.
Havent done the sw install yet but it on my list.

Dont know about rebuild, but a local guy here has used pods, odo didnt worm on mine. i got one for the speedo/ odo. All guages worked and i put in a tachometer in tbe center.

My monza has an electric fuel pump right near the connector to the fuel tank. There is a rubber hose loop right there that connects that loop to a metal fuel line.Corvair Forum mobile app

After realizing i had issues with my carbs, monza 110. The in carb filters were fillled with rust particles. So i am having them rebuilt. I am concerned about the rust. I have seen that there are bigger jugs/pistons made by vw. There are resour es for clean used main casses. Think you are outta luck on new one.

Thanks for your feedback. Some post on tbe forum said that the pertronix was designed to run with a 12 volt supply. I bypassed the ballast qire and the voltage at the b+ on the coil went from 7.6 volts to 12.5 volts. So now im going back to the original points with the points and the ballast wire in...

Yes, i just installed a tach, thanks. The qiring diagram frombthe shop man shows a brown (brn) wire going to the neg aide as well. Any idea what that is?

I installed this part 1162a which is 4 a 6 cyl chevy. Installed it a year and an reviewing cause i still have ignition issues. 1 the inductor ring has no way to adjusted. 2 the inductor ring top is supposed to be parallel w the top of ignitor module it is not and will not engage the shaft if done so...

Can anyone tell me what tbe ballast resistor wire looks like? I see the connectors just inside the engine compartment and will have to cut tbe black covering to get at it.

I am just getting into this issue on a 65 110 engine. After replacing tbe points w the ignitor 1 module, realized i had surginv goind on. So got the flametbroqer 3 ohm primary, and the directions lay put hpw to tell if there is a resister in there. My coil b+ to the + terminal on the coil is about 7...

We checked the torqu settings at different settings. At low values (15_20 ft lbs) the clicker craftsman one i have reads low at about 5 ft lbs off. At 30 ft lbs my wrwnch and the expensive digital snaP on tool register the same.
