Are replacement body panels available for the corvair? The reason I ask is I have a big hole in the front passenger side and idk if I will be able to make it look as good as an original panel if I just bend a piece to fit I also have a lot of spots to clean up on the wheel wells and the slight bevel...

I'm gunna put a full gbody frame under it ...I'm not a camaro fan I wanted this car just because you don't see them around here in Ontario at all that and I wanna make a sleeper lmao

I'm planning on doing a front mounted v8 on my 68 corvair I have seen many ways of how to do it if you have time knowledge and good welding skills it can be done it will just take some time

Sorry for the late replies the weather here in Ontario is crap and I only have a car tent to work out of... The key is in the off position and the lights were coming on I looked at the ignition switch and it seems fine I'm just wondering if the ground strap from under the dash not being screwed in w...

i ended up getting a new alternator and got that all hooked up right i still have to get the plug wires sorted out yet but my only problem im having is that the lights on the dash are coming on when i plug the battery in and i don't have the key in the ignition im wondering if maybe the previous own...

They might be I just left them I went over a wiring diagram and checked if they were in the spot they were sapposta be in and they were they might be out of rotation by one spot to the left but other than that there were there ment to be i went off of the diagram that brad posted Sent from my A0001 ...

I'm thinking its the ignition switch that's messed up seeing as I can take the key out no matter what position its in and when its turned to the off position the dash lights and headlights are still active the alternator was like that when I got it there's no connection on it to allow those two wire...

I tried some of your guys suggestions and I managed to get a 9 /16 a ratcheting wrench on the pully tensioner and got it tight now I got the wiring figured out and got the engine to turn over my only problem now is when I connect the battery the interior light turns on and the headlights I don't thi...
