Re: Windshield fitment issues

You could try glass holding suction cups on the inside and outside and pulling sideways. if this did not work you would need to remove the assembly and re-install it making sure to have the glass totally centered (or perhaps a little to the gap side). The real problem is removal without cutting the...

Re: FC wiring help

Were your headlight directional sockets rebuilt? If so, see socket issue described a ways down this page http://corvaircenter.com/phorum/read.php?1,879581,page=17 Steve Yes they were. Thanks for finding this and sharing Steve. That is exactly the problem I'm having. I'll be calling Clarks tomorrow!...

Re: FC wiring help

Is there any physical difference you can see between the left an right sockets in the new wiring harness? A bent or damaged connector, or a burr in the slot that won't let the 1157 bulb rotate? If the socket is faulty perhaps they can send a replacement socket from the catalog page below... :link: ...

Re: Windshield fitment issues

Is this problem on both sides? You might be able to get a usable fit by shifting the glass toward this this side if only on the one side. If it gaps on both side this would not help. If the glass is from Clark's I would expect it to be the best fit there is, but, it is possible you got a bad one. T...

Re: FC wiring help

Sun Dec 10, 2017 2:03 am ...Can't seem to get an 1157 bulb to twist into the pass side turn signal. Drivers side no problem... There is a high/low arrangement on 1157 bulbs and sockets. Is it possible that you were trying to insert the passenger side bulb with the pin positions reversed? 1156 bulbs...

Re: FC wiring help

While not ruling out a possible wiring error, first I would check the headlamp bucket grounds. You will get some weird lighting problems if the front headlamps or running lamps are not properly grounded. Not an uncommon problem with the FC and EM cars. Also make sure the tail lamps are grounded. He...

Re: Windshield fitment issues

I have seen fitment issues where the rubber meets the body in the corners, but, never where the glass gapped to the weatherstrip. I would guess that you have a faulty windshield. Thanks for your reply. It was from Clarks so don't know where to get another one or what to do next. I already returned ...

Windshield fitment issues

I recently got a new windshield and gasket from Clarks for my '63 Greenbrier :) found a great YouTube video featuring Dave and the guys in Ventura club on how to install. Everything went to plan but there's a small gap in the lower drivers corner where the windshield is not in the gasket. Also the g...
