Re: Vairy interesting

I’ve been trying to buy a tagged stinger for about a year now, this doesn’t help. That is a lot of money, even for a well restored copo car.

Re: Corsa 140 or Turbo

As a 180 owner I am partial to my 53 year old turbo. Cool technology for back them and the platform leaves plenty of opportunity for improvement with modern day gear. I guess that’s true with either platform, but I like the challenge the turbo complexity adds. Building a 140 for autocross though, so...

VDO tachometer question

Have installed a complete set of VDO gauges and all work fine except the tach.

The tach is a bit erratic and is overstating the RPMs. The three jumper setting are set for 6 cylinders.

Any thoughts / suggestions would be appreciated.

Re: LM headlight switch question

Think I found it. The 20 B/OR wire was not attached. Didn't realize there was a separate switched power feed for the dash and tail lights.

Thank you all very much for the help.

Re: LM headlight switch question

Brad, thank you. Yes correct jumping 14R to 20DG was just a test to ensure the interior light circuit worked from the plug forward. I replaced the switch thinking that was the issue. Hard to believe the new switch would be bad as well, but at this point the issue is narrowed down to the plug and/or ...

LM headlight switch question

Interesting update. New switch came in and still no interior lights. If I jump power from the red terminal to the green terminal the lights work fine.

What material are you using for the blue and green high beam and turn indicators?

Re: Megajolt Maps ??

I too am surprised there are not more conversations about MJ and availability of parts. I guess at a minimum you can create a base map that mimics the mechanical system.

Re: Fuel pressure regulator

I’m running an electric pump with an output of 9 psi. Just confirming that is enough to open the diaphragm on the Holley regulator.

Re: Fuel pressure regulator

Regarding the Holly pressure regulator, what is the minimum input pressure required? Can’t find it anywhere in the specs.

LM headlight switch question

Thank you, the green lead from the switch feeds the fuse box so it’s before the fuse I believe based on the diagrams I use. Didn’t realize the switch was so cheap, I’ll order one. Joelsplace, can you expand on the comment “if the wiper is bad that would prevent them from working”? I don’t see a depe...

LM headlight switch question

Having issues with no voltage to my dash lights. Have verified there is no voltage coming through the green wire existing the switch.

Is there a way to test the switch itself?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Megajolt Maps ??

I’ve purchased the unit, have a LM turbo as well. Still working out the trigger wheel mount but would be interested in what you find.
