Re: Production numbers / VIN
You need to minus a 100,000 to the number. so it would be 29,544. I guess they did that to keep the number a six digit number and not to start with a zero.

Re: Gen/Fan Light Flickering
If it was me , I would disconnect what I just wired up and then run the car to see if it clears. If it does then you know it is caused by something you wired in. Then I would connect one item at a time do the test drive and see when the conditions occur. That would isolate the area you need to look ...

Re: New Member that missed the boat home.
Ed, did my 20 and retired here. So it is here to stay unless my son who is a little stuck on Mustangs, Camaros and the Datsun Z cars right now, doesn't take to this car. Then I will find a young Serviceman to ensure it makes home and get the care it needs. But I think once I get him in the car and d...

Re: New Member that missed the boat home.
Okay..maybe I undershot the condition of it.. Underside looks pretty good too but I think suspension might need some work since previous owner just did top side work. To tell you the truth, I think it was always someone else doing the work. Anyone that puts that much effort in keeping a car...

Re: New Member that missed the boat home.
Bodie thanks brother. I don't if it was "survival instinct" so much as I am 8,000 miles to the nearest parts store and if I don't get it running I will be late for the next beer run. Amazing thing I can do with duct tape, clothes hanger,RTV, super glue and o-ring kit. I did notice you did ...
