Insted of welding you could gring out the rust and use the new metal bonding glues used now in bodyshops everywhere and the stuff works VERY WELL, better than weld in a lot of places and just as strong. PVC Valve

Hello All, On a 1964 van does the pvc valve go stright into the top or does a metal tube go into the top and then
a small piece of rubber hose on it that the pvc valve goes into? Not trying to be stock but just whatever works. THANKS for any and all help. Jimbo :fc front:

THANKS sam60, got a lot of time in it so far and a LOT of time to go. If anyone is wondering that silver thing with the metal lines and a rubber line on it is a vaccum assisted power brake booster, from 57 - 59 cad. Have not tried it yet but should work good. Hello All, Anyone ever put the 64 leaf spring set-up on a 64 van? pros.? cons.? I know the swing arms are not set up for this but would it help? and what would it take to do so?
