Re: '66 Saginaw

I've pretty much discovered this is way more trouble than I'm willing to take on. Thanks for the info.

Re: '66 Saginaw 4 speed into a '64 questions

I've pretty much shelved this idea after realizing after how much would be involved in making it work. Right now I just want to get the car on the road.

'66 Saginaw

Hello, I'm building a new drive train for my '64 Monza 2 coupe. I've got an extra '64 differential and a rebuilt engine. For the transmission, what I had bought bolted to a '65 differential was a '66 Saginaw that I thought was a '65 until I got the gasket set from Clark's. My question is for someone...

Re: 1964 convertible window weatherstripping

I have a '64 that I need to replace the door and back glass weatherstrip. The early models were coupes or sedans which means there is a frame around the door glass. It looks like somebody put convertible doors on your car, but there is also a post in front of the rear side glass.

Re: My Corvair and other project ideas. sorry no pics

After I get my shop started again and a place to keep everything out of the weather, I'll be switching between projects doing bodywork and whatever else I can without spending too much money. Even at that it's going to be hard to get anyone thing finished. Right now it's easy to plan things out ment...

Re: Hello from Texas

Ive had 7 MN12 Tbirds over the years, a 90 Anny SC, and a 93SC were my favorites. I have always wanted a 49-51 Ford..its on my "someday" list. I'm looking forward to getting mine back on the road. I've upgraded everything on the new engine except for the cam. I just need to get a bigger fuel pump t...

Re: LM vs. EM Debate.

I can't vote in this poll because even though the car I learned to drive on my own was a '65 at 14, my first car was a '63 Spyder at 16. The late models are more sporty and have a better IRS, but the earlies have a classic car look. I've got a soft spot in my heart for both, as well as the Greenbrie...

Re: My Corvair and other project ideas. sorry no pics

Thanks, I will. One thing I'm curious about is the availability of stock dash panels with air vents. I've got an A/C crank pulley on the 140 engine and I'd like to find as many factory A/C parts as I can find.

My Corvair and other project ideas. sorry no pics

I've got a few projects that I've got to get out of the way before I can get to my '65 Corvair convertable. #1 my blk/blk '90 T-Bird SC Have to finish the engine/drivetrain overhaul. #2 build a place to keep my projects out of the weather. I had a 26x50 place in the works before hurricane Ike destro...

Re: Hello from Texas

I'm keeping the T-Bird as a parts car for my 90 SC that I'm currently installing a new 300+hp V6. I'm selling the '50 for $600. The wrecked SVO will be stripped and the rest sold for scrap. The other SVO will be a free bonus with another SVO I'll be selling for 2k http://optima.web180.com/newsletter...

Hello from Texas

Hello, I'm George, 39 from Texas. I'm new here, but not to Corvairs. My dad collected them from before I was born until I was 16. I learned how to drive a '65 Corvair 110 4 speed hardtop when I was 14. My first car was a '63 Spyder convertable. He's since sold them and I got a few more 10 years ago....
