Okay, so my research was on point! Thank you for your response.

There is an oil pressure fitting on the top of the engine as well, where I expected one to be.

Is there any reason to keep or not keep it this way if it all checks out okay? The pressure sender on top is so much easier to access.

So from what I have found, it looks like this could be a 1960 temp switch? Obviously would mean not an original engine but that wouldn't surprise me any!

I am new to Corsairs. I now have a 1965 Monza. I was checking the wiring to and my temperature and oil pressure sending units themselves (light coming on) and discovered this other sender (red arrow in attached picture) tied in as well. Can someone please tell me what it might be? Is it another temp...
