Hi all The car above is now in my possession and on the road. Does need carbs changing which is on the cards for this winter. The wheels have been changed too a set of cragers. I was at a car meet in Preston last month and guy there in his 70's used to own a white EM he was surprised to see mine as had not seen any other corvair's in uk

Definitely no plug in you can see vapour leaking out. And when running if you cover hole engine picks up

Hi it is the one you have circled in diagram. I've probably not described part correctly my mechanical knowledge isn't the best. Come from electrical background.

Carb trouble

Hi I have a 140 corsa have been trying to balance carbs and in the process have found the primary carb on left of engine seems to have a air leak from a hole just under idle screw adjuster. Great read with being over in the UK I had never seen or heard of a corvair until about August last year but after learning a bit more about the history and still learning there was a connection with the cars.
