Re: Fuel pump

Helped a club member try to install the available mechanical pump you can find now. Shortened the pump shaft, one lasted 2 days the other a week. Put the leaking original back in and it lasted till he had a electric one installed. New mechanical pumps are garbage....Hopefully Clarks pumps work out.

Re: Phone Wheel Alignment by Gyraline

I saw a youtube video of someone with an alignment rack and compared it to the Gyraline. Fine for ball park but not real accurate. Here is the video link.

My 62 Wagon is manual adjust, my 63 is self adjusting.

Re: *Additional* oil cooler

To solve the belt issue you could use quick disconnects. https://www.pegasusautoracing.com/images/M/JT51410.JPG https://www.pegasusautoracing.com/productdetails.asp?RecId=3046&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=JT51410&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw5Ky1BhAgEiwA5jGujlPNtN42kPDTzxvYuoBb ...

Re: *Additional* oil cooler

Wouldn't there be an issue with belt install with the adapter Seth posted. How would you get around that?

Re: My 1966 Kelmark found me....

Great story, A mid engine swap is on my list that I would like to do in the future. Almost had my hands on a Kelmark setup but the deal fell through.

Re: Hulkster...Something Completely Different

Very cool! Had a 6bt in my 98 (made in 97) with a few mods and compound turbos I was over 1000 lbt. Was a great slimplistic engine. 4bt is a great choice.

Re: Wastegate question

I have a 13 lb in mine, but have leak in intake above 11psi so its self regulating at the moment. ::-):

Using a electronic boost controller, you should be able to have the port below the valve be pressurized till you want boost to stop and spring pressure is not as important.
