Re: Oil Plumbing

that is exactly what sparked the question... I had intended to use 8 AN which is 1/2" ID.... but seeing that note in Clarks/Otto made me think.

Re: EDIS Revisited?

Just the documentation that's already out there, it's pretty common sense. As you step on the gas, the little bug dancing around the timing map goes towards higher MAP numbers. Anything above 100 kpa is boost, anything below is vacuum. Actually that was the hardest part to get past, since my whole ...

Re: EDIS Revisited?

I have a map posted on the autosport forum, just get a login and you should be able to download it. That will get you started, but every engine is different so you'll want to play with it to see what it likes. Sweet found your hot weather and chicago turbo maps. Any advice for reading/learning how ...

Re: EDIS Revisited?

Got it.

Totally different question now:

I want to route a remote oil filter inline with a 8 pass oil cooler.... this part is straight forward.

What would you do with the spot where the original oil filter mounts? Need to block it off somehow...

Re: EDIS Revisited?

nick - do you have any ignition map files you can share for the MJLT? I looked through your posts on autosports wiki but didn't run across anything but the turbo profile.

or... do you or any readers have a source to self-educate about ignition maps and how to set them up.

... tow truck drivers are the scum of the earth. I'll agree that thieves are the scum of the earth but I know a few tow truck operators that are neither scum nor thieves. Dave - not sure if intentional or coincidental but the fact is the real thugs are shown in these videos... tow truck drivers are the scum of the earth.

Blaze - not sure how I had missed this thread before but it's great! If you're in Indiana I can appreciate the comment about the cold... I used to live in northern Utah and have fond memories of replacing the lifters while under the car... in the snow... in January..

Re: New guy in Texas

Very nice looking car! I'm in San Antonio too - where is it located I wouldn't mind looking at it and or helping you with it. $13K would work if it was absolutely pristine, maybe a convertible, and a properly tagged Corsa. Though the car is certainly worth some good money.
