988165 trim rings

I have a pristine 1969 500 Coupe, all stock.
Ebay has factory trim
rings , 988165, which were available for 1960 and 1961.
Will those trim rings work well with my 1969 LM factory wheels ?
If not, are there other Chevy trim rings that will work correctly with my 1969 stock 500 rims ?
Thank you,
Bob.

Re: Clarification on Dual Exhaust

In this thread, I have spoken of not wanting a bad looking exhaust system.

PICTURE I WANTED TO SHARE WILL NOT DISPLAY HERE ......... SORRY. :-(

This pic in facebook accurately pictures what I do NOT want to happen.

Re: What oil for a 1964 Corvair monza?

To change oil every 2,000 miles is fine, but to keep the same engine oil in the car for 2 years is NOT a good idea.

Re: 65-69 Rear end silver panel btween tail lights

The name "argent silver" is noted in Chevys, going back to at least 1951, when grille panels and wheel pin stripes were painted argent silver.
Indeed, argent silver has had a very long run with Chevys.

Re: GET a GM Corvair shop manual for your car!!!

It's certainly not Corvair guys that don't utilize shop manuals. I also own a '51 Chevy and it simply amazes me how these guys "rip and tear" into the car without having the slightest idea as to where they're going or why. I agree and abide by the above posters ....... when you buy the car...

Re: Clarification on Dual Exhaust

Can anyone tell me, from experience, whether the CLARKS WELDED EXHAUST SYSTEM, when mounted on a LM ......... will the positioning of the tailpipes be the same angle and height, when comparing the left tailpipe to the right tailpipe ?

Re: Clarification on Dual Exhaust

Would it be safe to think the WELDED SYSTEM will bring the tailpipes out correctly ........ or would it be a better thought to purchase the CLAMPED SYSTEM, to obtain a good alignment of the tailpipes, as they exit the body ?

Clarification on Dual Exhaust

This question was asked before, I am unable to find the discussion.
Mine is a '69 110 / PG / Unit # 2671.
If I order dual exhaust, will there be a fitment issue to manifolds, being that duals were not offered on the 110, but were offered on the 140 ?
Thanks.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

This year I became an owner of a fine 1969 Corvair 500, my first Corvair since my new Corvair Monza, back in 1965.

My sincere "thanks" go out to all the Corvair Forum members who have assisted me, during this year.

Your assistance is truly appreciated.

MERRY CHRISTMAS !

Re: GM Corvair PARTS MANUAL

You asked for...i think a 70-72 parts & accessories manual. I have one. However. Comparing it to my 69 version, I have found many parts missing from my 72 version that are in my 69 version. I sent you a 69 version because I like them better. Over the last year, I have looked at almost every pag...
