1968 / 1969 Powerglide ID is the vehicle's VIN and is stamped on the case "lip" on the driver side just below the linkage rod.
It is between the 2 pan bolts, and is readable only from above.

Just pix for now since the diagram in the manual is too "tight" to really see what wire goes where of the back of the switch.
