Re: clutch pedal

Thanks for letting me know. I could not tell it was welded there also. The hole must have become enlarged also since the snap ring passes right through the hole which I assume holds it place. So I will have to figure out another way to secure it.
I appreciate your input

Re: clutch pedal

Still not sure why the snap ring is able to pass right through the hole where it is supposed to attach. But when I figur...

Re: clutch pedal

The second and third pics show one with the pedal in place and the other the hole where the pedal goes through. The pedal still had the bushings, shelve and and snap ring in place

Re: Electric Fuel Pump Installations

But the car is very hard to start. You have to pump like crazy to get it to start and when driving when ...

Re: 1964 monza shifting issue

Re: 1964 monza shifting issue

ok I just saw something on a website calling it the throwout bearing shaft "snout" so I'm confused
so it looks like the pinion grear slids up into the snout, so its just the snout that is broke.

Re: helicoils for 1964 corvair 110hp pan bolts

Yes you get to them by removing the valve covers and the bottom cover next to the oil pan cover( easier to get them out and guide them back in) then pull the rocker arms. I laid them all out in order so the went back in order. No sure you need to do that. But I thought it would be a good idea since ...
