It seems the resto company didn't get anywhere with it as it is on ebay. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/115073262233?hash=item1acae6a299:g:HZoAAOSwSUdhftct
What is the story with the missing seats ? Any idea if there are any in the UK. I have been after a Corvair for ages but keep getting distracted by ...

Re: 67 Corvair advice needed
I am not getting much on the way of answers about the car, but it is in central Islip Long Island New York. If there is anyone in the area who could have a look for me that would be great. At the moment I am put off it by the lack of sensible info. The photo's are ok but all low res and not of any ...

67 Corvair advice needed
Hi does anyone know anything about this Corvair on Clark's for sale page. It's a '67 listed 04/17 light green. I would post pictures but it isn't easy on this site. The vendor has sent me a load of pictures and it looks really good but as I would be buying blind to import it to the UK any info I can ...

Re: The Spousal Avoidance Unit build
Hi thanks for that, the link still sort of works I could only get thumbnails. What on earth have they done to photobucket ? It really is messed up now all pop ups and adverts not to mention the blackmail they are trying to inflict on users. Anyway back to the car, I decided to walk away as the shell ...

Re: The Spousal Avoidance Unit build
Is there any chance that the pictures from this thread can be found anywhere as I am going to look at a project Corvair tomorrow that has a Caddy engine and transmission in the back, but it would be nice to see what it should look like.

Re: New member from the UK
Well I went to inspect the convertible in the UK yesterday and it wasn't good. The car seemed solid enough with no flexing on the body and good door gaps, but that was about the only good thing about it. The seller has it sat outside jammed in between other cars so no chance of inspecting it ...

Re: New member from the UK
Thanks for all the info that one in the uk maust of only just been listed. I might go have a look at it in the morning. Rust isn't that scary as I am used to it with the british climate. I restored a Renault Juvaquatre the year before last that ended up with new chassis rails from front to back ...

New member from the UK
Hi I have signed up hoping that I can obtain some sound advice before I jump in the deep end and import a Corvair. I am from Somerset in the UK and have had a very varied collection of cars over the years. I am after a '65 on Corvair coupe or sedan maybe a convertible. I don't mind a bit of work as ...
