By the way, I' think all thread rod can't resist to the proper torque of head's nuts tightening... Threads would fail before half of the tightening procedure... Hi' Scott, this kind of rod should give you some mess, soon or later... In fact all thread rod do not have the same mechanic property than the original one. When your engine run, heat makes metal going a litlle bit longer, so it's important that all rods take lenght the same way at the same time ...

I' usually those kind of wheelset on a classic, thinking they are rough on such elegant car....but i' must recognize that this works pretty good on ur ride, and after all it's Just a matter of few minutes to change them if you feel bored...

Thank you toytron, in fact I've always loved american cars, all american cars, as far as I' remember. So my first car couldn't have been other than a "ricaine" like we say here in France... Renault, Citroën or Peugeot, it was Just impossible to me ! So I ' began to work hard during summertime, ...

Hi bbodie52, I know the french corsa chapter but saddly they are a bit far from me...they are mostly based near Paris. I'm glad you answer me, you know my brother bought a few years ago a dodge coronet who have served as a taxi on a usaaf in germany... There isn't so much corvair here in France ...
