With a 2 carb 110 engine don't go crazy with the cam. Close to stock or stock. Work your heads for tight quench and 9/9.5 compression. Rework your distributor advance curve and Lots of vacuum advance. Also, I did not catch your transmission. It makes a difference.

Your car was #2000 out of 6000. My original 69 Monza coupe was #4485 out of 6000. My current 69 Monza convertible is 3812.

Suggest you start rebuilding the other engine. May as well do it right and be done with it. BTW, I was the guy you beat to this particular 1969. I was going to see it the next morning.
