Re: Gas tank removal, Dave motto head.

Hello Dave
They’re charging me a $100 to clean it. It was really clean. Just a small amount of rush on the top of the tank. It’d probably another $80 if I wanted it coated but said that he didn’t think it was necessary

Head light switch

Just stuck my ugly mug under my dash. There’s this connector that I believe goes to my headlight switch, but it doesn’t look like I can get my big hands up to the switch to plug it back in. What am I going to do? Do I need to pull off the basil? If so how do I get the darn knobs off the shafts of th...

I’m doing my rear brakes or my cousin is. The passenger side has the large shoe toward the ft of the car. That’s wrong isn’t it? The large shoe’s toward the back isn’t it. I can’t find a good picture that’s shows whether the big shoe is toward the back or ft. HELP this Corvair is killing me. It’s a ...

Re: Gas tank removal, Dave motto head.

Ok, I pulled the tank. I didn’t take off the stabilizer bar. I just unbolted it and Swung it down. That seemed to work fine taking the tank out. Had it cleansed at a Radiator shop waiting for a new sending unit and then I’ll reinstall it. Hope it goes in smooth. Oh, and Dave in your video on the tan...

Re: Carburetor float drop

I was told by my local Corvair club that my secondary carburetors should not have the grommet on fuel pump on the secondary carburetors is this true? If I leave them on will it hurt anything?

Re: Cleaning gas tank

I have a friend that had told me that you put nuts and bolts in the tank, tie it to a cement mixer and let the mixer do the cleaning. Now how can I check if the tanks even that bad in the first place?

Hello everyone I’ve just rebuilt my carburetors. I’ve flushed my gas tank out a few times with fresh gas. I was wondering if there is anything else I can do to clean the tank out without dropping the tank? I had the ft. end out of the car I should have dropped the tank then but its to late now, is t...

Re: 4 carb Roger Parent linkage.

Ok, I’ve ordered a roger patient linkage system. What is the recondition of dealing with the lock out choke thing. Do I want it? As I think I’ve the roger patient linkage will correct the issue with the lockout system. My car is a 65 corsa 140 will I have to modify anything on it when I installed it?

Ok, I’m going to order a roger Patient carb linkage for the car. Also I’m thinking of changing my carburetor crossover with four single air cleaner. Do you know where I can get them? Today I’m going to put in my rear seat. I did the upholstery myself and I have to say they came out really good. I us...
