It occurs whenever I drive over the road reflectors. It's a loud banging, on the right side only. Checked the torque arm bushing bolt is tight, the shock mounts are tight and have the rubber on each side, and replaced the 4 strut rod bushings. Any ideas?

Re: Backup light switch 65 Corsa
Hey Terrible, you solved my issue! There were 2 washers on there, plus my new one. Took out the 2 old ones, and eureka! Thanks very much!

Backup light switch 65 Corsa
Just installed a new wiring harness and backup light switch, and the backup lights aren't working! The switch has power to it and from it if activated manually, but does not work installed on trans.
Can it be something in the trans broken?

Re: 65 quick steering adapters
Hi Joelsplace. $100 for the fast steering adapters from Clarks, right? If so, I'll take them. Can you ship priority mail and I'll mail you a check for the mail + arms?

Re: 65 quick steering adapters
I have the factory box, and am looking for the aftermarket quick arms. Clarks is out of stock for 6-8 weeks, if then.

Re: 65 quick steering adapters
What part are you trying to find? Quick steering arms or replacements for damaged arms on a car that has factory quick steering? Clark’s has quick steering arms on page 155 of their catalog. These arms are as described in the catalog and are made to be used with a standard non quick steering box.Th...

Does anyone know where I can find the 65 quick steering adapter arms? I'm having trouble finding them at my favorite suppliers.

PCV is missing
65 Corsa, prior owner removed the PCV valve and plugged the vacuum. There exists a hose to vent as it was before. Should I reinstall the valve?

Re: Fast idle Corsa 140
I did follow the manual, except for the timing after the carb rebuild. I’ll try that tonight.
Thanks!!

Re: Fast idle Corsa 140
It is impossible to balance the primary carbs when the neither idle speed screw is engaged. Any “balanced reading you are seeing is circumstantial). Are you sure the secondaries are fully closed? Did you remove the throttle plates during rebuild, and if you did, did you reinstall them right side up...

Fast idle Corsa 140
I’ve rebuilt all 4 carbs and replaced the spacers and gaskets for each carb. The engine starts and runs ok, but it idles at 1,100. Idle screws are both all the way out. Throttle plates are balanced with a uni sync. I capped off all vacuum lines except the advance hose, which I checked for leaks. The...

Alec, did you have to clean out the box, or just top it off?
