Thanks steveH & bbodie52, good advice and links, a little more about us without putting you folks to sleep. We are located in Iowa 45 miles west of DesMoines I am a bodyman, my stepdad was a auto mechanic , he worked the dealerships through the 60s into the early 70s when he opened his own shop....

Thanks Duane, I had not thought about that turbo having a oil feed line, yep your right on pulling the coil wire and spinning it to get oil through it.

1964 spyder turbo , 4spd coupe. 68K miles. running, driving, sound car when parked 9yrs ago, its been stored inside. it had some stabil added at some point but the fuel smells real bad. outside of the fuel system clean up and fluid change out plus a little trans fluid into each cyl is there any spec...

Just wanted to say Hi, I signed up to read up on corvairs and will try not to be a pest LOL
Main reason for intrest is my stepdad passed away aprox 2 yrs ago and mom is asking questions about what to do with his corvairs , values , etc.
I will try to learn what I can.
