Hardly necessary especially single cylinder. They should try driving my '59 Galaxie. If there was ever a car that could use PB. :)

We used this, along with their other products, at work with great success. It's expensive though unless you can get a small amount.

Re: Clutch pilot tool
Got it, thanks. Just waiting for the parts to arrive. One point for those fellow Canadians: Clarks will no longer ship by USPS, only Fedex or UPS. This is likely to add considerably to shipping, brokerage, duty etc. That's mainly why I went with Corvair Underground for the flywheel. They will ship U...

Re: Clutch pilot tool
Thanks for all the advice guys. Dave, I saw that piece of shaft in your youtube video! The rebuilt flywheel is ordered, but I'll wait until after our club car show before I start the job.
Thanks again. Eric.

Hi all. I've been driving my '66 Corsa 'vert for about a month now and I'm very happy with it. However the list of items that need attention at the end of the season is growing daily. I now have all the parts required from Clarks to rebuild the front end later in the year, But my main focus is a loo...

Re: No warning lamps.
Here's an up date on my charging system issues:- I disconnected the wiring at the alternator and ran the engine. It was still cool after five minutes. Reconnected the alternator and ran engine. It immediately started getting warm at the pulley end and the voltage at the battery was 25V. I removed th...

Re: No warning lamps.
Thanks very much for the advice, I have made some progress. The multi pin connector was part of the problem, it had become slightly disconnected, I cleaned it and now the oil pressure warning lamp works, According to the colour coding on the wires though, it looks like the leads to the pressure and ...

Hi all, now that the weather is finally warmer, I'm back working on my 66 Corsa vert. I rebuilt the carbs, distributor, replaced the plugs & wires etc. etc. I just tried starting it (for the first time since getting it last year) and it ran fine. The problem I have is the gen and oil lights are ...

Brake question.
Hi all, I haven't done any work on my Corsa during the winter months, but with tomorrow being the first day of spring (supposedly), I have started back by checking the brakes. Everything is in good shape and recent maintenance is evident. I'm puzzled by something I noticed on the drivers side front ...
