on the road today

I drove to a fall festival and car show at my church today. My vair was the newest car there. She is a cranky old cuss today. When I put the top down, the brittle rear window ripped apart. It was hard to start and ran awful. sounds like the timing is off. When I backed into a space I bumped the curb ...

I prepped and painted the wiper grill with rustoleum apple red to check that color. It is quite close to what I want. perhaps a ...

Re: Hi from Westminster MD

Thanks Brad Bodie and others. I plan to use my vair vert for summer jaunts around town and occasional local shows. Restoring is costly and time consuming. that's not my bag. A safe, reliable and fun car to drive is. Soon I will be cruising junk yards for steel rims. Most likely 14's I already found ...

wheel and tire sizes

i see postings of wheel and tire sizes of 14 & 15 inches. My 65 monza convert has 13" wheels and tires. I haven't found 13" tires in my area yet. I take it these larger sizes would fit. ?

Hi from Westminster MD

I just got a 65 corvair monza convertable. I have learned much from visiting Corvair Ranch in Hanover, PA. I am wondering if the front brakes can be converted to disk. It has 13" wheels.
