I would advise considering Haggerty insurance at your next renewal. Not only did they come up considerably cheaper than Footman James at renewal but I managed to add another road going car and two projects...for less than the renewal price from FJ for the Corvair alone. We too had a Chevette (Vauxhall) in the UK in the 1970's which was generally underpowered (we called it the Vauxhall Shove-it)...

While I start the car in neutral, it runs at normal rpm. But if I drive it around a little bit, then put it in neutral while im sitting still, the rpms get a lot higher. It's like the car revs itself up without my foot on the gas. Does anyone else have this problem or is it normal? This used to hap...
