Hello, Could anyone help me identify this transmission. The numbers I think are- Top line: GM4, Mid line: 3859958 (possibly 6's not 5's but pretty sure 5's because tops are square but looks like the bottoms circles could be closed like a six, and the last digit could actually be a B instead of an 8 ...

I started getting a scared myself but I checked the rotation. It was my understanding that if they used the vw swing axle that they reversed the pinion gear and only had to reverse the engine rotation with and irs? If not I think Ill cry...
