Re: Rampside Door Closure Mechanism

You probably figured this out long ago. I just did this on my van. It was only engaging the safety latch on both doors. I tried adjusting and all sorts of things. I ended up just depressing the button on the handle and rotating the catch cam on the door itself to the proper position. I shut the door...

Re: OPG has a Corvair catalog coming soon

Dave Most of us have several, I have a 61 lakewood, 65 Corsa Convertible, 61 Greenbrier Sport Van, 65 Corsa Coupe, a 64 Rampside, and last but not least a 65 Mid engine V8 Vintage Race car project. It is great news that OPGI is taking an interest in the Corvair.

Re: Any Corvairs Going to Road America July Hawke Vintage Racing

Sorry I have not been here since the race. There was a good turn out they had an all Corvair race on Sunday I believe there were 12 cars that raced and a a few that were display cars. I did not make it as my engine blew outside of Des Moines. Here are some pictures. I have some smaller and Larger te...

Re: ENTER - Corvair of the Month March 2017

Hi I am Allen Amrine, many of you know me from the internet, some in person, and some not at all. I have not had a driving Corvair for some time. I got really lucky to get not only a driver, but a nice rust free 1961 Lakewood! I helped the previous owner get it here from Montana then helped him to g...

Re: ENTER - Corvair of the Month April 2016

My Greenbrier is not the prettiest but it has attitude, and some patina. It is my first FC that I have got on the road. A 1961 Greenbrier with 64 110 engine and 4 speed car power pack. It will have matching Deluxe rear seats thanks to Craig Nicol! There is a little bit of rust but the plan is to re...

Re: VOTE- Corvair of the Month July 2015

Thanks for the editing Brad! Looks great. I am working on getting tires for my M/T wheels, they look like Torq Thrust, and are originals from the 60's.

Re: ENTER- Corvair of the Month July 2015

I will try with my newest addition. It is a project but could make a cool calendar picture. I will take better pictures as I get it moving. The plan is nice interior, engine, wheels, air bags and clear coat.
