Re: RED gas
I've found that it is better to keep the tank FULL than only putting in 2 to 4 gallons at a time. Moisture (re. Ethanol) will accumulate in the void, where the fuel isn't...

Re: heating problems

I spray painted a 1"x2" block of wood the same color as my shroud and wedged it under the line to keep it off the ...

Re: Hello from the Florida Panhandle!
There are different length dipsticks also. Who knows what has been swapped out in over 50 yrs. My 4 door was always happiest just over the "Add" mark. No matter how many times I put it up to "Full" it would always go down to just over "Add" and wouldn't go any lower.... Then I got the correct ...

Most of the members in my club went (San Antonio's ACCA..Alamo City Corvair Assn..) Heard it was great! Alas, I've had medical problems so could not attend. Don't know which ...

Re: Carb Venturi Drip after shutoff

Had a 60 Valiant that sat for years before I got it. 3 of the 4 Drums were so out-of-round, they almost looked Oval. Having a good machine shop ...

Always wondered this myself. Am following this thread for the "How To". Don't have much debris down there tho, and a powerful vacuum is only so-so..
