My Dad followed Fred Johnsons book and coated the pushrods tubes on his car back in '87. Not certain how much it helped but it is still not leaking 30 years later.

I have not been successful in getting my Clark's transmission pan leak to stop. Just replaced gasket and used some Right Stuff gasket sealers too. I am having a similar issue. I have a 64 powerglide convertible. I have all fuses and the alternator disconnected. With the voltmeter between the positive battery post and the positive cable, I am getting approx 3.25 drain. It has frustrated me for weeks.

I just got mine installed with the nylon insert and it is tight. Do you think it will break in and loosen up with use or do I need to remove it and sand it?
