Re: Fuel Issue with Starting Engine/Idling

You might have ignition issues, not necessarily fuel. If mine, I'd stand back at engine area and then crank it over (with a remote starter switch) and then just manually work that carb and get some RPMs up when it does start. Give it some good revs, and you may get a feel if it is actually running o...

Re: What's it worth, lol.

I agree with terribleted and azdave here....probably no meat on that bone for a flip. Although if the sheetmetal is good in the right places, it might be a nice donor for someone's rust bucket rampside/loadside project, not to mention all the peripheral goodies.

Re: Rear speakers

Fall-Sale-2019-BLK6X9-SALE-detailed-image-1.jpg What I used to run were these 6x9 enclosed box speakers, and set them on the floor behind both front seats, facing up. They have great bass sound and they'll blow your ears out. They didn't really slide around at all either. With rear seat passengers,...

Re: Which tachometer works in center dash opening 66 Monza?

Wonder if the knee knocker model would fit in an EM? Face looks right for a Spyder, certainly would have to take it out of the case to fit in the dash. Anyone tried this? I would find out first if the wiring is compatible with the corvair 6-cylinder. All those impala and chevelles are V8s. I have a...

Re: 1963 Corvair Engine detonation

That one thing that concerns me is that you mentioned the oil puddling in one of the cylinders, also the deposits around the outer circle of the spark plugs. I hope this motor doesn't have any oil consumption issues, because that will be an instant path to increased detonation, guaranteed. Have you ...

Who is reproducing that second one? Looks like a perfect fit for a Monza dash.
