Although I've seen it in other street vehicles, your distributor appears to have no vacuum advance....the model without vacuum provides more stable timing as the timing platform is fixed in place. Most race or limited use vehicles use the non-vacuum distributor for that reason....plus they hardly ne...

I dunno Tina....in North Carolina we have STMI (shade tree mechanic insurance)....it covers any & all mishaps....check with your local yocal insurance company darlin' :tu:

here in North Carolina...that's a 500 dollar repair bill....I'm sure he charged you less for unclogging your thing.
