Grommets
One other easy thing that was confusing to find a straight answer to online was the body and Engine big grommets. I checked the assembly manual and it had a couple answers, but you have to jump around sections and it's not the greatest to be honest. I just may not be familiar enough with it though. ...

Corsa Rear grill trim
Haven't done much lately, lots of storms and chores. Finally got my Clarks order in though and thought I'd do a quick review on their trim insert. Overall, I'd give it a 8 of 10 maybe. Looks nice coming out of package and came in a nice box. New.jpg Up close though, there's some manufacturing blemis...

Re: Main fuse blowing
FWIW, I changed out my alternator to a 63a and got rid of the little red tie point going into cabin. I used a 60a maxi fuse and haven't had any issues.

Man, that trunk came out nice! Re-assembly is the fun part for me. Enjoy it buddy!
Are those the bowtie mirrors from clarks? I'm torn on using those or getting some mid-70's camaro junkyard mirrors. Someone previous already put holes in both doors.

Thanks, and I'll definitely check out Eastwood for it.
Didn't know about the yellow can Easy Off either. Now I have a new experiment to try, lol.

Re: County98's Learn as I Go Thread
I jump around on projects a lot, in case you couldn't tell. If it starts getting tedious, I work on something else. Decided to try my hand at polishing the rear window today. Came out much improved from before, but I rushed it a bit I think. At least I know my glass is usable, albeit a little scratc...

Re: County98's Learn as I Go Thread
Finally got around to a pic of the lower grill installed. Matches up...kind of. Use a size oversized on the sheetmetal screws. At least I needed to. I started by loosely putting on the lower side screws, then tilting it up like a hinge. It's a PITA trying to see and line up the holes and then fit a ...

Re: County98's Learn as I Go Thread
The second piece I did was spray bomb the rusty blue rear air grill. Since i had to dig it out of the pile to do the exhaust, figured I'd clean it up a bit. Paints I used were these: My go to for Corsa Silver is Alumi Blast. Not perfect, but pretty close. The red I got was Rust-Oleum Regal Red. Name...

Re: County98's Learn as I Go Thread
Did a couple little things over the last couple days. Just messing around to get some satisfaction between spring chores. First was cleaning up and putting on cove trim, but not the decklid piece. I'm going to use an old yenko style lid, so probably no trim on there. I wish all the trim was stainles...

Re: County98's Learn as I Go Thread
Much appreciated. Good to know about exhaust too.
Saw alot of threads about noise level, but wanted something out there about what to expect. I'm not mad at it, still happy, but I don't like it when things don't work as advertised.
Oh well, no big deal.
