Re: When was the last time you saw an ash tray in a car?

I purchased new door panels for my '65 Monza coupe and was able to get them without the ash tray holes cut into them.

Re: Manual to Automatic

Where are you located? I have a 1962 95 Van with a manual transmission and would prefer one with an automatic but am not willing to make the effort to do a swap so it will stay as it is. My Van has not seen the road in close to 40 years but is solid where it counts and why I have it. http://www.corv...

Does this look like a Corvair Lug Wrench to you?

As the topic title asks, Does this look like a Corvair Lug Wrench to you? :dontknow: It does not look like any Corvair Lug Wrench that I am familiar with but, I have dealt mostly with Late Models over the years. Is there a chance this is correct for an Early, or maybe an F.C.as I know the F.C. Jacks...

Question? .... I will emphasize to only vote in your division! :tu: [/color] I genuinely wish there was a way I could figure out a way to Vote for the West Coast Directors in this election, even though I live on the East Coast. There is a Director there seeking re-election that needs to be removed ...

Re: When was the last time you saw an ash tray in a car?

I am not a Smoker so I can sometimes be a bit rough on them, especially when they treat the planet like their own private Ash Tray. For many Smokers, it doesn't matter how many Ash Trays their vehicle has, the often flick their butts out the window anyway. If someone happens to witness their litter...

I've heard horror stories about what red paint cost these days. Did the shop tell you how much you saved painting the roof white instead red?
No they didn't and it did not occur to me to inquire. :dontknow:

Re: Squeaky Clutch

Scott, Does this noise occur when the engine running or not, or does it only make noise if the engine is running? IF it only makes noise when the engine is running, it could be the Throw Out Bearing, or possibly even the Pilot Bushing. IF it makes noise when the engine is not running, It is most lik...

Re: 65 Squeaking from rt rear

Rear brakes were the fix for the squeaking noise. Following through and posting the solution to the initial inquiry is always appreciated as so many threads get input and suggestions yet the actual solution is often unknown. By following up and posting the solution, it may be able to help someone e...
