I am working on finishing up the trim tag decoding on Canadian built Corvairs and need more Trim tag info for the 1960-61, & 62 Canadian built cars.
If you have one or know of one, I need the trim tag information, specifically the BSO codes (Body Special Options)...
Thanks in advance!!

Re: 66 corsa convertible a/c car
I was saying the body tag belonging to body 2711 was the "newest" or "latest" 66 Corsa vert built as it was built near the end of production.

Re: decote.
Yes, that would be as close as you get for a "numbers" matching car. The Corvair did not have the VIN stamped on the case until later years, so a correct date code and engine suffix is as close as it gets...and yours appears to be original.

Yes, I collect all Fisher Trim tags. Any that you have and are willing to share would be appreciated. There are several projects going on using the data from them. Not only the deciding of ACC codes ( which there are still a few codes missing from low production options) but also total production, b...

Re: 63 Spyder? Help
vairguy63, Your build date of 10E is 5th week of October 1962 and correct for your 63 tag. The 3C is the ACC code for the Spyder option for the 63 Monza. Sadly, your VIN is not correct for your trim tag. Your VIN is for the 1718th Corvair off the Oakland Ca assembly plant and not a WR car like your ...

Ahh...I didn't read the whole thread previously...but just did. I see it is a re-body...that is to bad. I just grabbed the Fisher Tag for my data and discovered the high body number and posted.
